Artist's Comments

Lonely little sunflower bench, is currently in hardship and is quite weathered. Remembering back to a time when it was the finest piece of craftsmanship on the street.

Photo #1 of Enigmatic Series

Omg, no one comments on this? What the hell is wrong with people. Very well then, I will shake this page with my comment! :shakefist:

The color composition of this is very beautiful. Okay so its a bench...its brilliant! The colors, the mood of this...(yes I feel a mood in it). Something I would actually picture in a movie where some soft song plays in the background aided but the soft laughter of children in the distance followed by the echo of wind chimes...beautiful!! I love this...and I dare anyone to not call this beautiful!! dare me!! You are awesome!! :D

This is a beautiful shot. The only thing I have to complain about is the log underneath the bench. If you could have, I would have removed it before taking the picture.

In my opinion the log adds more to the picture.... if it was just a log on wood planks from a walk way and a wall it would be gravy and cool looking still, but the log just adds that something more. I don't know if you see the stone on the left side of the picture. there was one of those underneath the bench that I moved cause it didnt really fit the shot. This was a well thought out and setup shot, working all the angles to find just the right one, and making sure that everything was quite literally in the right spot!

I really do appreciate your comment and that you like the shot. Just wanted to let you see what I was thinking when I shot the shot. Sometime to little in a shot is not the best thing. Also look at the title of the image it doesnt just have to do with the bench but the overall of the image, dont get me wrong the bench is the center piece. Sorry if I seem a little off on this reply, just this picture has a lot of meaning behind it. Its not just a bench. Thank you for your time I really do appreciate it. I will check out your stuff and give you some comments when i am not at work.

this is an amazing piece. i really love it. the details are great. the tones are amazing. i just wonder who all have sat there and what their stories have been. =]
:iconasphyziata:
Conceptually dark. It makes me wonder what all its been through, who has sat on it, touched it, just the general history of it.
